Buying Gigs On Fiverr: Use This Working Method.

A working method for buying gigs on fiverr

Introduction

Is outsourcing services new to you? Well, it’s new to many other traditional employers like you. Ever since the evolution of the “web” so many things have changed in terms of how or rather the best way to run your business and maximize your resources.

Outsourcing all departments in the name of technology is a bad idea, but every business will surely meet a task that will need the attention of a professional and your business might not have the need to hire that employee full time at the moment, so what do you do when you have that project or that imagination you want to bring to light but don’t know how to, That task that does not come around all the time but when it does, you get a head ache? You outsource!

Why Should I Outsource?

You outsource to save time, money or get a better job done than you or your employee would do. Let me explain further:

You save time when you outsource for repetitive and time taken task that must be done, these types of tasks are not the main reason you bring the check home but they somehow manage to take out almost four to five hours of your precious business hours.

You save money when you outsource a task that does not occur all the time and would be expensive to hire a full time employee for that task alone or a task that will need you to spend extra money renting an office space for in-house employees (customer care service for example).

It’s time to outsource a professional when you have a task you know would be detrimental to your business to hand over to just any one to complete, for example a video ad or logo. There are some tasks that should not be taken for granted because they can impact your brand or income.

No matter how you see it, there will always be a task you must outsource, but outsourcing itself takes skills. So, in this article, I will be equipping you with the skills to outsource a professional at an affordable price (from $5) and get exactly what you want without drama. This article will be all you need to be begin outsourcing, immediately after reading it.

What Happens When You Outsource?

When you outsource, you have the opportunity to meet professionals from all over the world who have mastered the service you are looking for and are so good, that they even make a living from that service.

They only charge you for the time they use to work, they take working with you so seriously because they know you have too many options and they also know all the latest tools to do that service better and quicker just to stay ahead of their competition.

However, the most exciting part of outsourcing is getting to cheat your government, lol kidding! But honestly, some of these professionals live in countries where the minimal wage is five to ten times lower than yours.

So you’ll be saving your money, not dealing with employee drama or getting extra workspace, getting the best and no one gets hurt in the process.

What Is Outsourcing?

According to the balance small business, outsourcing is contracting out or shifting tasks, operations, jobs, or processes to an external workforce, by contracting a third party for a significant period of time.

What Should You Outsource?

There are certain essential yet time-consuming tasks in every company which is repetitive in nature.

Finance and Accounting
This is one of the most outsourced services. Why? Believe it or not, if you don’t have a good finance/accounting system in place, you’ll either lose money or end up spending more or not even know you are spending more than an average business should. Not every business owner is a Numbers guru and I’ll advice you not to push yourself (it’s one thing if you don’t have in you, you just don’t) but that does not mean you abandon this crucial task.

Personal Assistance
This is one of my favorites, a virtual Personal Assistant is quite different from the physical one because they compensate for not been present by knowing a lot of technical knowledge. Having one is like killing too many birds with one stone. They know how to handle many online tasks because they meet clients in different industries with different work specifications but they all of them handle your mundane daily tasks like scheduling appointments, answering calls, or booking flight tickets. This will give you more free time to maintain a healthy work-life balance even as your everyday tasks get done efficiently.

Social Media
It is very important to handover this responsibility to not just an employee but someone who has the technical knowledge to handle your social media account and bring organic traffic, because many of these freelancers have done the job for a while and do the job for so many people, they have tools that helps give your business exposure faster. If you were to use an in house employee and buy these tools, you might need over $400 a month plus the employee’s salary, but with these freelancers all you need to pay is their fees.

Customer Service
Customer service has long been known for outsourcing. As a business grows, it needs larger customer support reps to connect with your clients and resolve issues. Hiring an in-house team means getting an operating office for them thereby incurring additional operational costs.

Market Research
This is another task that does not come around all the time, but when it does, it’s best to hire someone who knows exactly how to turn the internet upside down and give you everything you want for an affordable price too.

Human Resources
Nearly half of all businesses are now outsourcing their HR divisions. These external agencies or RPOs (Recruiting Process Outsource) help start-ups recruit talent. These services screen through resumes, interview potential candidates and shortlist effective talent.

You can choose to outsource the company’s different processes, depending on the type of business you operate.

Some other Task to Outsource Are

  • Cloud & SaaS Development
  • Website Customizations
  • Complex Video Editing
  • Creative Logo Design
  • Customer service
  • Photoshop
  • Data entry
  • Complex Website Submission Forms
  • Voiceover Work
  • Technical support
  • Complicated List Sorting
  • Video Ads Posting and Renewing Ads
  • Screening Emails
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Legal Writing.
Encountering things you can’t (or shouldn’t) do yourself is an inevitability. It’s going to happen.

How and Where To Outsource Talent

Now that you know what kind of services you must outsource, it’s time to know where you can find freelancers good at them. There are many places to find them but the cheapest yet most effective place (if you follow my instructions) is fiverr

Buying gig on fiverr or outsourcing in general is great but remember, you need skills to be able to outsource a quality and more affordable option, yes! Skills.

Entre resource a quite popular blog said these wise words about outsourcing

“Outsourcing with Fiverr is a lot like drinking alcohol. When done appropriately and in moderation, it can be a decent experience”

Fiverr sure is a place to find talents but with so many people on ground, you might end up wasting your time if you don’t differentiate between a professional and a person who registered just to make a quick buck. Don’t worry, it’s not that hard, at the end of this tutorial you will not only know how to outsource but have the skill to outsource the best.

Buy A Gig On Fiver: Best Method!

There are two ways to hire a freelancer on fiver, you can post a specific request and wait for freelancers to contact you or buy a service (also known as a gig on fiverr). My pick will always be to buy a service, that way you get to narrow down your options and get the best freelancer for the task.

THE PRACTICALS BEGIN

Get Ready!!! If you plan on buying a service in the next 30 days then I’ll advice you to follow all these steps with me so this lesson can really sink in, If not, save or download this article and do the practical’s when you are ready (It’s a dry run practical)

  • Register a new account on fiverr with this link.
  • Go to “Find Services” bar and type in your requirements. As an example, I will type in logo design and click on the search icon, about a thousand sellers will be listed.
how to buy gigs from fiverr

  • Now It’s time to narrow them down
  • There are over five features to narrow down your search, but I’ll show you a skill that applies for all. Click on seller details, and tick the top rated seller, level one, two and three box. Do not thick the new seller box. Then tick the box next to your preferred language and click on apply.
Take Note, if your notice that the service you want to buy has a lot of sellers, only tick the top rated seller and level one box.

  • Click on budget and input your minimum amount (min. $5 for this example) and maximum amount (max. $15 for this example) and then click apply
  • Click on delivery time and choose the best option for you, I’ll be choosing “up to 3 days” for this example. Click on apply
  • Click on relevance and a dropdown will appear, click on bestselling. Now this is what it should look like below

  • Open one of those outstanding gigs (services) and you’ll be see a landing page that says all about the service (gig) the seller will be offering. Now you must check two things before proceeding.
  • First, check the sellers past work, this will be displayed on the slider just below the title of the service or gig. Secondly click on compare packages at the very top above the gig’s title and read carefully to know what they are offering you, do not assume. Thirdly click on reviews next to compare packages.

  • Check how many 5 and 4 stars they have, and then click on 1 star to check out what might be the down sides of working with this seller.
But note- Nobody is perfect, I am not telling you to check the bad review so you can eliminate sellers will flaws but I am telling you to check so you can know if they have flaws you can work with. Knowing these flaws can help you approach them in a manner that is better for you and for them.

And also know that some of the bad reviews are cause by misunderstandings, so don’t judge a book by a person’s personal preference, some people are just hard to please almost impossible.

So what does that mean?

If the rate of 5/4 stars to 1/2 stars is 85 to 15. Then it’s not a bad gig at all. But always read the bad reviews. Always!

The video below is showing you all the steps above, you can check it out too

More tips that will help you buy gigs on fiverr

  • Do not trust Fiverr for any emergency job with a 24hrs deadline, yes! It’s a 50/50 chance. Anything can happen, they have so many other customers on their neck, they might not deliver even if they are good. Except you have built a relationship with a particular seller who can prioritize you over others.
  • If you need the project urgently, contact the seller first to know if they are available, in fact always contact them before buying.
  • Be very clear on the requirements, don’t assume they know, sometimes unnecessary misunderstandings can come up when you assume.
  • If you can provide videos and samples of what you want, please do just like I said in the previous point, being clear on the requirements is necessary and anything you can do to make them understand your request better should be done
  • Once you see someone who is good, trustworthy and always delivers, continue to hire them.
  • When it sounds too good to be true then it’s not true. Run!
  • If you see a title that says, I’ll give you 50 logos for $5, then click on it and see that 50 logos cost $20 instead, then that means the seller does not see anything wrong in pulling out such a cheap trick in general, Run!
Now that you have all the skills required to purchase a good service, it’s time to contact the seller to know if they will be available and also give them a summary of what you are looking for.

  • Click on “about seller” next to “compare packages” and then click on “contact me”. Do not forget to apply those extra tips given when talking to the seller about your project
  • After confirming the availability of the seller, if all is well you can now pay for the service. By going back to compare packages and selecting your preferred package, you will be redirected to a check out page and after paying you will need to submit the project requirement, please be very clear about what you want to avoid misunderstandings.
Congratulations, you just learnt an outsourcing skill!!!

At this point, you can confidently use Fiverr without the fear of the unknown and that also means I delivered on with my promise I quote “you would be able to outsource immediately after reading this article”

Do not forget to save or download this article if you did not do the dry run with me, you can use it as a guide when you’re ready.
